Lily started training at Sutton Tennis Academy (STA) when her family arrived from Switzerland in 2005. Having started her tennis career in Switzerland, Lily immediately came under the direction of Neil Carter. 

Lily climbed up the British rankings and acquired her first WTA ranking in October 2013. In 2014, she made it through the first rounds of some prestigious ITF tournaments across the globe as well as winning the Aegon British Tour in Edgbaston. 
Lily left STA in August 2014 to attend the University of Oklahoma. She will continue to use STA as a training base when in London during semester breaks. With her professional attitude, Lily will continue to be a fantastic role model to our younger players.

Name: Lana Rush
Age: 9 February 1997 (17)

Highest career ranking so far: ITF Jnr – 104, Under 18 – 157, Opens – 312
Lana progressed through our Tennis and Education programme at Cheam High, performing very well academically as well as on court. She left Sutton Tennis Academy in August 2014 to train and study at Florida State University.

Name: Josh Pistorius
Age: 17
Time trained at Sutton: 2 years
Native country: Great Britain
Highest career ranking so far: ITF Jnr – 830, Under 18 – 315, Opens – 585  
Josh joined Sutton Tennis Academy in 2012. His goal was to obtain an American college scholarship, which he has now achieved. He will be departing in January 2015. During his time at Sutton Tennis Academy, he acquired an ITF ranking and improved his rating to 2.2. In December 2014, he was awarded the Roger Webb Boys Cup for Endeavour by the Surrey Lawn Tennis Association. We wish him the best of luck in his Junior Athlete career and look forward to welcoming him back to the academy in future.
