Established in 1993, the Sutton Scholarship Programme, in partnership with Cheam High School, is the longest-running Tennis and Education programme in the country. The programme allows players access to top-class intensive tennis training, whilst continuing their education.
INTERESTED IN THIS PROGRAMME? WE ARE RUNNING OPEN DAYS DURING JAN, AND FEB 2010 FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN JOINING IN SEPT 2010. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BOOK YOUR PLACE ON AN OPEN DAY PLEASE EMAIL US AT info@suttontennisacademy.com or call the Academy direct; 0208 641 6611. EU players only, minimum rating 8.2.
Coaching is in a group setting, with each player attending a minimum of one 1.5 to 2-hour tennis session per day (Monday to Friday) plus daily fitness, with tennis sessions integrated around players’ daily academic schedules.
Additional group or individual sessions and personalized programmes are available.
The Scholarship Programme provides serious tennis players with excellent opportunities to progress their tennis in different directions, either into the Pro Academy and a professional tennis career, to gain a scholarship to an American or English University, or to begin a career as a professional coach.
Players who are awarded Scholarship places at Cheam High School will be provided with minibus transport between the School and Sutton Tennis Academy.
